Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Iceland Panorama Tours (referred to as “we,” “us,” and “our”). By accessing and using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers who access or use our services. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Bookings and Payments
  1. Booking Confirmation: All bookings must be made through our official website, email, or authorized partners and are subject to availability and acceptance. Once a booking is completed, you will receive a confirmation email outlining the details of your reservation. Please check all details carefully and notify us immediately of any discrepancies.
  2. Payment Terms: Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept major credit/debit cards, as well as secure online payment methods. All transactions are processed through a secure, trusted third-party payment gateway. We do not store credit card information on our servers.
  3. Booking Changes: Changes to bookings may be requested up to 24 hours before the scheduled service. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  4. Cancellations and Refunds
    • More than 24 Hours in Advance: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled service are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid.
    • Less than 24 Hours in Advance: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service are subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the amount paid.
    • For weather-dependent tours (such as Northern Lights), rescheduling may be offered if conditions are unfavorable but the fee for the initial tour remains the same and is non-refundable, as costs are incurred for transportation, guiding, and operations regardless of aurora visibility.
2. Services Provided
  1. Service Availability: Iceland Panorama Tours operates year-round, offering a wide range of transportation and tour services, including airport transfers, sightseeing tours, private excursions, and custom itineraries.
  2. Tour Services: We provide private tours, customized excursions, airport transfers, sightseeing, and other travel-related services across Iceland. Detailed itineraries and inclusions are outlined at the time of booking.
  3. Airport Transfers: We offer direct and combined transfer services, including stops such as the Blue Lagoon.
    Complimentary waiting time:
    • Keflavik Airport pick-ups: up to 60 minutes after flight landing (drivers monitor flight status).
    • Other locations: 15 minutes included waiting time. Additional waiting may incur extra charges.
  4. Customized Itineraries: Customers may request tailored services, extra stops, detours, or combined packages. We will do our best to accommodate, subject to availability and pricing adjustments.
  5. Extra Services: Child seats and other special requests must be pre-arranged and may be subject to extra charges.
3. Customer Responsibilities
  1. Accuracy of Information: Customers must ensure that all booking details, including pick-up times, addresses, and the number of passengers, are correct.
  2. Appropriate Dress: Guests are responsible for dressing suitably for Icelandic conditions. Layered clothing, waterproof outerwear, and sturdy footwear are strongly recommended, especially for evening and winter tours.
  3. Conduct: Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards our drivers, vehicles, and other passengers. Aggressive or inappropriate behavior may result in termination of service without refund.
  4. Luggage: Please inform us in advance of the size and number of luggage items. Excessive or oversized luggage not disclosed at booking may not be accommodated. Additional charges may apply if extra space is required.
4. Liability
  1. Delays and Disruptions: While we strive for punctuality and reliability, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss, cost, or inconvenience arising from such delays.
  2. Limitation of Liability: Iceland Panorama Tours is not liable for direct or indirect losses, damages, or expenses caused by service delays, cancellations, or external factors beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, volcanic activity, government restrictions).
  3. Loss of Property: We are not responsible for items left behind in our vehicles. Please ensure you collect all belongings at the end of your journey.
  4. Health and Safety: Customers are responsible for their own safety during tours. Certain activities may involve walking on uneven terrain, slippery surfaces, or exposure to natural elements. Participation is at the guest's own risk.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Iceland Panorama Tours website, including text, photos, itineraries, logos, and design elements, is the property of Iceland Panorama Tours or licensed to us. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.
6. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Iceland Panorama Tours reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will take effect immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Iceland. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Iceland.
